Nathaniel 'Nate' Fargrove. He is a bit arrogant at first and very brash.
I find his antics amusing as it usually results in Jane punishing him in a comical fashion.
He quickly grows up and matures. I remember how shocked I was when he didn't hesitate in murdering Feliz. Granted Felix killed his mother infront of him. But I always found it odd he didn't had any brief remorse or guilt after killing someone. Thankfully Jane's postive personality balances out Nate's more negative one.
He apparently develops a love crunch on Jane really early on. Which is a bit weird given his hatred of humans. Guess love isn't always logical. However I always thought it was more one sided. I wished Jane shown more hints at being attracted to Nate before they started dating.
Regardless, I love how you gave him a separate movation of traveling with Jane. The Goal of finding his father. Adds a little mystery to the journey.
Overall he starts off being very flawed but he slowly overcomes them. He becomes a hero he always dreamed he be.
