Jane, One Lone Crou cover

I know that the arc is already long over, but i'm going to give my review anyway:

To me, this first arc was pretty much a training arc.
It started with Jane finally meeting her match in the guardian, who she finally overcame at the end.
I think this was needed in order for Jane to stop relying on just her size and strength.
In fact, at the end of their fight, she was able to defeat the guardian BECAUSE her smaller stature made her too small a target for him to hit.
Following this arc, I expect that Jane will have all the skills she needs to handle herself against the Crou (after all I doubt they'll just have some random guy guard the gate into their lands).

In overall:
It was a good opening arc.
Jane didn't stay in that settlement long enough for it to grow boring and I liked the idea of her going a little crazy from her constant struggles.

However, at the same time I just couldn't help but kind of dislike the guardian for being an obstacle for Jane to get into the Crou lands.
Same goes for the hallucinatory William and how Jane just openly talked about said hallucination.
