Okey!
I know it's already been a while, but here my review!

Honestly, this arc went down different than I imagined, which isn't always a bad thing! :D (Big Grin)

Lets get the biggest thing out of the way. This arc completely changed perceptions on the Divine. Previously they were the least interesting parts of the story, always being portrayed as compelling characters only to be anticlimactically killed off. However, rather than forcing some emotional connection to them, this arc reveals that them previously being treated as fodder was because they literally are just fodder in Kip and Vex's plan. Side-note: I'm glad Ulm actually survived the arc. After all, out of all the Divine he probably has he most personality. I'm also glad there was no Godfrey; if there was then he would start being overused.

Next is Celia. I previously thought the only way for the to join the group would be for her to lose her fortune. That that was an obstacle. However, this arc instead explored the burden that comes from being a rich girl, which hadn't been explored before.

Finally there's some small things:
Kip and Vex's true goals and motivations were finally revealed, Gabbles was an ok antagonist just for this arc and Liz and Helen were also good in small dosages.

My only major issue with this arc is that the ending just felt kind of sudden. I even recall questioning if we were already approaching the climax. This is actually an issue I've had with Eldritch Girls for a while now. I get that you first want to do an introduction arc for each character, but this forces their story-lines to basically go on break.

Also, this is more of nitpick but I also want to point out that, unlike previous arcs, there isn't anything to look forward to this time. Previously, the character who would ascend next had already been introduced. This would get us excited for the next arc. However, there was no future Eldritch Girl introduced this time.
