Taking a Breakup to New Heights! Chapter 5

Enormous Pursuit! A Colossal Finale

Due to the late hour, Andrew didn't have to worry about any traffic as he zipped down the street on his motorcycle. Yuki clung to his back while wondering what she did to deserve getting dragged into such a dangerous situation. “She's gaining on us!” she yelled after looking back to stop the thirty-five foot Ashley casually jogging after them. “Can't you go any faster?!?”

“Only if you jump off!” Andrew growled, silencing Yuki.

“Andrew!” Ashley called out playfully. “You'd better not stop! I'm going to get you!”

Andrew grit his teeth. “What the hell do I do?” he thought as his mind desperately raced with ideas. “I need to get away from Ashley and hide. It's my only option. But how do I do that?” Andrew swerved onto another street and immediately spotted a tunnel in the distance that sat under a wide road. It wasn't a very long tunnel, but Andrew didn't care, it was way too tight for Ashley to pass through at a decent pace. She would have go around it, hopefully buying Andrew enough time to hide or possibly escape.

Unfortunately, Ashley also spotted the tunnel and picked up her pace, changing her casual jog to an intense sprint. “Oh no you don't!” she roared.

With Ashley mere seconds from closing the gap, Andrew threw away any concern for safety and floored it, causing Yuki to tighten her grip and close her eyes.

Realizing she wasn't going to catch him in time, Ashley dove and reached forward just as Andrew reached the tunnel entrance. Unfortunately, she wasn't fast enough and Andrew made it into the tunnel, Ashley's hand missing him by inches. “No!” she roared. So blind with rage, Ashley didn't even think to stand up and climb over or go around the tunnel, opting instead to try crawling through.

Needing to confirm Ashley didn't somehow magically make it through the tunnel, Andrew looked back, stopping his bike just as he reached the tunnel's exit.

“Why are we stopping?” Yuki asked, too afraid to open her eyes.

Andrew smirked. “Because Ashley is an idiot” he snickered.

Yuki opened her eyes and looked down the tunnel, immediately noticing Ashley had wedged the top half of her body into the tunnel. The giant woman's shoulders were pressing against both sides of the tunnel, preventing her from moving either forwards or backwards. “Damn it...” Ashley growled through her teeth as she glared at Andrew and Yuki.

“I always warned her to cut back on the snacks” Andrew joked.

“This isn't time for jokes!” Yuki barked after hitting Andrew's arm. “In case you've forgotten, it's your fault we're both in danger!”

Andrew looked back and gave Yuki an intimidating glare. “Hit me again and I'll leave you here with Ashley” he growled, causing Yuki to recede and avert her eyes. “Much better, now let's get out of here.” After giving Ashley one last smirk, Andrew drove away.

Ashley slammed her free fist into the tunnel's walls while trying to free herself from her tight predicament. “Andrew!” she roared, her voice echoing out of the tunnel. Suddenly, Ashley's bracelet started to glow and she felt her body press against the tunnel's walls even tighter.

Meanwhile, Andrew continued to drive down the road, although at a much safer speed. “Alright... I finally have some time to think” he thought. “What am I going to do now? I should skip town until somebody sorts out my gigantic problem. I'm sure the army will deal with her in due time.”

Yuki looked around and saw that they were starting to leave the town. “Where are we going Andrew?” Yuki asked. “Can you please take me home?”

“Yeah, no” Andrew sighed. “I'm not going anywhere near Ashley until she shrinks down... If she shrinks down. I'll stop at the next gas station so you can get off and call a cab.”

“Lovely...” Yuki grumbled. “Such a gentleman.”

Suddenly, Andrew and Yuki heard an ominous rumbling in the direction of the tunnel. “That doesn't sound good...” Andrew thought before checking his bike's mirror. He almost lost control of his bike when he spotted a chuckling Ashley, now even bigger than before, erupting from the tunnel, destroying the road it was built under with ease. “Oh shit...” he gasped as he watched Ashley slowly stand up.

“Thank you bracelet” Ashley giggled while stretching out her arms, debris falling from her shoulders. Thanks to her drastically increased height, all Ashley had to do was turn her head slightly to spot the headlight from Andrew's motorcycle leaving the town. “Cute. They still think they can get away.” After giving her neck a crack, Ashley gleefully started to pursue her tiny targets.

“How is this even possible?” Andrew's mind keeps asking as he reaches the open road. Despite several humongous booms shaking the ground, Andrew kept his focus ahead as he pushed his bike to it's maximum speed.

“What are we going to do Andrew?” Yuki asked loudly, her voice barely audible over the whistling wind.

“We keep going Yuki!” Andrew yelled. “At least until I can come up with some sort of a plan!”

“We need more than a plan!” Yuki shouted back. “We need a miracle!”

Andrew tried to focus on coming up with a plan, but Ashley's heavy footsteps kept rocking his bike, forcing him to focus on maintaining control. “Come back here little Andrew” she called out calmly. “How long do you think you can run from me?”

Andrew ignored the voice and kept his eyes on the road. Yuki however, looked back and let out a terrified scream, causing Andrew to look back and spot Ashley's enormous hand, easily twice the size of his bike, reaching down toward him. Fortunately, Andrew was able to swerve his bike just enough to avoid being grabbed. A second later, Andrew spotted an exit onto a dirt road and quickly took it, just barely avoiding Ashley's other hand.

Due to the rough, uphill dirt track, Andrew was forced to decrease his speed. Luckily, the road quickly led to a thick forest that would no doubt hinder Ashley's pursuit.

Undeterred by the possibilities of gigantic splinters, Ashley continued the chase, her legs and feet snapping the waist high trees like they were made of drywall. Suddenly, Ashley's toe slammed into a tree much thicker than the rest, causing her to stumble and nearly fall over. “Son of a bitch...” she grumbled under her breath while clutching her aching toe.

Meanwhile, Yuki looked around at the dark forest surrounding her. “Where are we going Andrew?” she asked before spotting a familiar sign. “Wait a second, we need to turn around.”

“Quiet!” Andrew barked, keeping his focus on the road instead of the crashing booms caused by Ashley's footsteps. “I'm not turning back toward that monster!”

“But Andrew!” was about as far as Yuki got before Andrew silenced her with a fierce glare.

Suddenly, the pair reached a clearing and Andrew was forced to stop his bike when he realized the path had led him to a camping grounds that sat on the edge of a deep ravine, easily over a thousand meters deep. “Shit...” Andrew grunted as Ashley's loud footsteps got closer. “Now what the hell am I supposed to do.”

Realizing this was her chance, Yuki leaped off Andrew's motorbike and darted into the woods, disappearing into the darkness a second later. “Hey, stop!” Andrew shouted. “You can't just abandon me!”

Yuki ignored Andrew's yelling and continued to flee further into the forest. However, after leaping over a large tree root, Yuki noticed a woman in a bright orange suit waving at her from atop a thick branch. “Who the hell is that?” she thought while watching the strange woman slowly disappear.

A loud crash signaled Ashley's arrival at the camp site. “Found you” she snickered as her shadow engulfed Andrew. “Where's the little bitch? Oh well, you're the one I'm after.”

Andrew gulped and looked up at his gigantic ex, her sinister expression immediately bringing fearful tears to his eyes.

“You know Andrew, if you would have just taken me back, you could have had all this” Ashley continued while showing off her enormous sexy body. “Look at me, I'm freaking humongous and I bet I'm only going to get bigger. Now I can do anything I want, this whole world belongs to me now. It could have been ours if you weren't such a piece of trash” Ashley sighed and shook her head while maintaining her terrifying smile. “Oh well, I guess you can serve as an example of what happens to those who cross me.”

Desperate to get away, Andrew picked a direction that wasn't facing the ravine or Ashley and took off. Unfortunately, he barely got a few feet before Ashley's enormous hand plucked him from his bike, causing it to swerve out of control and crash into a tree. Andrew's heart sank as he was placed in Ashley's palm and lifted up to her face.

“So nice to have you all to myself again” Ashley chuckled at her cowering ex.

Andrew tried to put on a brave face. “W-what are you-” was about as far as he got before Ashley flicked his head so hard it felt like it was about to fly off.

Ashley couldn't help but giggle at how powerless her ex was now. She had put almost no effort into that flick and yet Andrew was reeling like he'd just gotten hit in the face by a brick. “This is so great” she snickered before pinning Andrew down under her index finger. “You're like a little bug, in awe of my overwhelming power.” Ashley turned her gaze upward toward the stars and smiled. “What an amazing night” she thought.

“P-please Ashley, don't h-hurt me...” Andrew whimpered as blood dripped from his mouth. “I'm... I'm s-sorry.”

“Keep crying little Andrew” Ashley giggled. “It'll only make this next part even better.” Ashley took two steps forward, bringing her huge body to the edge of the ravine. “Now Andrew, how should I end our time together?” Ashley danged Andrew over the ravine. “With a fall? Or perhaps...” Ashley brought Andrew back behind her head like she was about to pitch a ball. “I should see if I can send a man to the moon without a rocket.”

“No Ashley please!” Andrew screamed, his voice muffled by Ashley's fingers. “Please! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!”

Much to Andrew's surprise, Ashley slowly brought him back in front of her face. “Are you really sorry?” she asked with a serious expression.

“Yes, yes I am” Andrew whimpered after getting on his hands and knees. “I'm sorry for everything I did to hurt you. I was wrong and a god damned idiot...”

Ashley gave her tiny ex a warm smile. “Well that's good” she said before suddenly shifting her smile into a sinister smirk. “Now you can die without any regrets.” Andrew let out a terrified scream as Ashley closed her hand and prepared to toss Andrew as hard as she could.

Suddenly, Ashley heard a loud cracking sound from below her feet. The second she looked down, the cliff overlooking the deep ravine started to crumble under Ashley's sheer weight. She tried to step back but it was too late and a large portion of the campsite quickly tilted, causing Ashley to lose her balance and topple forward.

Andrew let out a painful cry as Ashley instinctively tightened her grip around him, keeping him locked in place as Ashley plummeted, head first, into the ravine.

A few seconds later, a massive quake rocked the surrounding terrain, almost knocking Yuki off her feet. Fortunately, she was able to maintain her footing and continue to flee.

A minute later, a human-sized Pik playfully skipped through the damaged campsite, quickly reaching the edge of the ravine. Pik peered over the edge and, despite the darkness shrouding the bottom of the ravine, spotted her toy laying motionless. Eager to get a closer look, Pik floated down into the deep pit. Once there, Pik inspected Ashley's closed fist and the blood dripping from it. It would seem that during the fall she had closed her fist so tightly she had snapped Andrew's body like a stick of celery.

Pik parted Ashley's strong death grip with ease. “Nasty” she giggled when she saw Andrew's deformed and mangled corpse. “I wonder if Ashley at least survived the fall.” Pik flew into the air and almost immediately noticed Ashley's broken neck. “I guess not. Maybe I shouldn't have bent the cliff... Oh well.”

With a snap of Pik's fingers, Ashley's lifeless body quickly shrunk down to its original height. “This was a lot of fun” Pik giggled while removing the ruby bracelet from Ashley's arm. “Thanks so much for showing me a good time you two.” Pik placed Andrew's corpse next to Ashley and smiled. “Now then, who can I play with next? Maybe I should pay my sister and her fake family a visit.”
